3月21日,科技日报记者从中国农业科学院植物保护研究所获悉,该所作物病原生物功能基因组研究创新团队联合国内其他科研单位,构建了国际首个双生病毒-植物-昆虫数据库。该数据库提供了最完整的双生病毒、寄主植物、传毒介体、病毒-植物-昆虫互作信息,并提供多种在线工具,可实现相关文献同步更新。相关研究成果在线发表于《分子植物》。
双生病毒是全球范围内对植物危害最严重的病原物之一,有520余种,可通过烟粉虱、叶蝉和蚜虫等传播,侵染棉花、番茄及瓜果等多种重要经济作物,造成严重的经济损失。
