The ISO annual meeting 2022 held on 19-23 September 2022 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates(UAE), hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the ISO member for the UAE. More than 5000 people joined in the meeting. Dr. Phyu Phyu Win, Director General, Department of Research and Innovation, Ministry of Science and Technology had attended that meeting and discussed about ISO activities in Myanmar. In the meeting “today’s most important global challenges and technological developments and understanding the potential of standards as accelerators of change for good and also how ISO can leverage marketing/distribution/promotion of standards as a mechanism to answer market challenges” were discussed.
